The Rio Blanco County Connected Communities Coalition works to strengthen protective factors, prevent youth substance use, and create opportunities for meaningful connection throughout Rio Blanco County. 

 

Guided by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Strategic Prevention Framework, the community-driven initiative is dedicated to safeguarding the health and well-being of our next generation. By leveraging evidence-based strategies and local partnerships, we create a supportive environment that prevents substance misuse before it starts.

We believe prevention is strongest when it is community-driven, collaborative, and rooted in connection. Everyone has a role to play, and we welcome community members and partners who want to help make a positive impact.
